Dreams have spoken to me from a very young age. When I was five, I dreamed of being chased by a black bear through cobblestone streets. I ran through the streets looking for the family car, which kept disappearing. I remember sitting upright in bed after that dream! Although I knew nothing then about the significance of dreams, that one stayed with me throughout my life. I never forgot it. I later learned our power animals often pursue us first in dreams. Since then, the bear has come to me repeatedly, showing himself to me as my power animal, helper and friend. (I am currently living in a denlike basement apartment home, with doors and windows opening to the west, the direction of the bear. Early last spring, a big, beautiful black bear walked through my yard, circling my home in safety and calming me after I had gone through an anxious time.)

I am currently studying the written and recorded works of shamanic dream teacher Robert Moss. Using his dreamwork techniques, I am beginning an ongoing dream sharing circle. The first meeting will be at my home on January 8, 2008. There is no charge, and is open to anyone interested in learning and practicing the dreamwork techniques taught by Robert Moss.
